Roccia

Casa della Roccia is a charming self-catering guest house located in the medieval stone hamlet of Borgo di Pianciano, which has been recently renovated and includes three additional guest houses. Nestled in a secluded and tranquil valley, it offers breathtaking views and is perfectly positioned to explore Umbria's most renowned attractions.

Each house features its own private garden and a terrace for outdoor dining. Guests can enjoy the shared panoramic swimming pool (15x5 meters) and an authentic steam bath made of handcrafted "tadelakt."

Casa della Roccia, with a spacious 150 sqm layout, can accommodate up to six guests. The house takes its name from the rock upon which it was built, which is visible in the kitchen and one of the bathrooms. On the ground floor, you'll find a large kitchen, a cozy living room with a fireplace, a bathroom, and a small room with a separate entrance. The upper floor houses the two bedrooms: a master bedroom and a second room with two single beds, along with another bathroom.

The laundry facilities are located in a separate building. The house is beautifully furnished with a mix of modern and antique pieces, and it includes amenities such as a washing machine, iron, hairdryer, dishwasher, and barbecue.

Guests will have access to the shared swimming pool (12x5 meters) and the steam bath, and will also enjoy fresh produce from the vegetable garden, which supplies the guest houses with seasonal vegetables and flowers. For younger guests, a game room with table tennis is available.

The caretaker is on-site and available for assistance or information at any time, and I will be present at check-in and available by phone throughout your stay.

Pianciano is located in the heart of Umbria, just 15 minutes from Spoleto. In just 30 minutes, you can visit the historic towns of Assisi, Spello, Bevagna, Montefalco, and the beautiful Valnerina. The region offers not only rich cultural itineraries but also scenic landscapes, outdoor activities, and local wine tasting experiences.

We offer traditional Umbrian cooking lessons and gourmet dinners upon request, showcasing fresh seasonal local products. We also host homemade pizza nights, with pizzas baked in the medieval wood-fired oven for a truly authentic experience.
